    Quick question lads do the likes of American golf , Mcguirks or Halpenny take second hand irons of you for trade ?

    Usually yes, depending on the condition.
    Purely in my own experience, American Golf aren't great for trade in value, seems to be a bit more corporate and they have a list with the trade in value for clubs. and that's that, no room for haggling.
    McGuirks have always been pretty fair when I've traded, ie getting not much less than I'd likely get selling privately.
    I've rarely dealt with Halpenny, but was once offered an almost insulting trade in value for a club that was more or less new.
    YMMV.
    I'm lefty so not as much demand for my clubs which might be a factor in how I formed my opinion.
