Preserving a lumper potato?

Hi, I may not be in the right thread here but anyways....a few weeks back I did a talk on the great famine. I eventually did it and I was given a lumper potato as a gift for doing all the work on the famine and creating awareness in my aera. Is there a way to preserve a lumper potato (like an artifact?) without it rotting.

Is it a rare breed of spud?

I imagine to preserve any vegetable you'd have to dry it out like a prune and vacuum pack it. I dont know any other way you could keep mold from eventually getting at it

You could contact this guy. Also some other growers have started planting it and its being grown commercially again in the midlands I think.
