Hi guys updating my current system which has a fx 6300, 8 gb of ram and a 7770 with a 500 watt power supply which I build from looking at threads here. I'd like to play games at higer settings with better FPS.
I just seen this card on amazon and is the best value you can get ? Max budget is 200 euro. Thanks guys

Also now wondering if there is something wrong with it as its going so cheap

Have you tried overclocking your 7770 at all?

Yea, I have it overclocked. Works fine for most games maxed at around 35FPS to 45 FPS except Far cry 3 and crysis 3. Have to turn down res to 1680 and lower a good few settings for Crysis. Far cry 3 isn't too bad at 1080P, lower a few settings to medium. I usually get games a "different way" so not too bothered about getting games free with it.

Would the 7950 be much better than a 7870?

Thats what I'm wondering so posted here. Looking at hardwareversand they look to be at around 300 euro. I just pulled the plug on this anyway so will let you know if Amazon cancel it. I'm not up to date with graphics cards at all!

Looks fine to me and Amazon support is great if there are any problems + free delivery.

The 7870 above is the tahiti edition which uses the same gpu as the 7950 and 7970 but with less stream processors and 1gb less video ram.

It's about 20% off the performance of a 7950 at the same clock speeds at 1080p.

Doesn't look fine to me the picture is of a 650 ti and the ASIN is for a 650 ti.
It's been talked about in the bargains thread, I think amazon will have a lot of refunds to do process

They have none in stock to check it with, it's on a 2-4 week preorder. Looks like they really messed up the info has been incorrect for a few days now.

More talk about it here but the chat is full of people trolling. Some claiming to have got a 7950 and some a 650ti.
