Fitting a CD Changer

I am trying to fit a CD Changer (Yatour Digital Changer) into a 2007 Nissan Almera. I got it fitted into the CD Changer Port but the Radio does not recognize the new device.

The device also have 2 extra wires (BATT+ and ACC) but the instructions does not say to use them.

    Questions:

Has anyone fitted a similar device successfully?
Does the addition wires need to be connected somewhere or is the Changer Port sufficient?

    Thanks.

It sounds like you only fitted the control cable. The other 2 are the power cables. The BATT is the constant 12v supply directly from the battery and the ACC is switch wire connected to the ignition. You could just tap in to the BATT and ACC cables going directly into the stereo.

    Thanks Shane.

    I figured they were needed.
Now how to figure where to splice them the existing radio (see image).

    Any pointers ?

    Thanks again.

Have you something else spliced in there already? Nokia car kit perhaps?

Yes, I just got the car and it was already installed.

Ya it's the yellow, red and blue cable on the top left of the picture. The yellow and red are already spliced to the radios power input so that will tell you what cables you need to use. If you can somehow safely connect the cd changers red and yellow in along with that you should be good to go. If it were me, id be soldering it but if thats not an option, crimp connectors would do. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before you try anything.
