    Are the new holes on Carton O'Meara in play yet, anyone know?

    No where near ready yet, played there on Monday. Course in fine shape though.

    Yeah still a long way off but they look like they'll be interesting.

    As far as I can gather, the new first will be a par-five that starts back towards the main building (when you're driving up to O'Meara carpark from clubhouse, the new tee boxes will be near the part of the road where you turn right to go up to the first tee). It will sweep to the left to what looks like a relatively small green for a par five. The green will be to the left of and below the current first tee boxes in that area that is currently OB. The hole itself looks quite close to the houses to be honest.

    The second will then be a par-three playing to the current first green.

    The 18th will also be a completely new hole, starting near the site of the current 18th tee but running in a perpendicular direction back up toward the clubhouse, if that makes sense. I think it's going to be a long par-four.
