Wonder how early today's feed from Croke Park will be found. Be nice to get the Kildare Offaly game at 5...

You probably know where to look to see if anyone has found a feed.

    http://www.satelliweb.com/?section=livef&langue=en

The most likely satellite is 37.5 West

    Frequency: 10972 - Pol: V - SR: 5786 - FEC: 3/4

Often in 4:2:2 though. And it might be on 1 West or 23.5 East or elsewhere. If you want to line up your dish on 37.5 West use 11679 V 4090 a data signal, there are no broadcasters there at present. Unlikely there will be a feed for the first game as it is not being broadcast but I will check later on if I'm around.

Thanks Dxhound, have sats lined up on 23.5e, 1w and 24.5w, tried to line one up midweek on 37.5 but couldn't get a signal at all. Will try the tp you've said! Should of asked you before I went at it!!!

    Thanks again!

The Kildare Offaly feed is on. It's a fairly strong signal with me flickering between 9.5 and 10.5 dB.

So what are we on today 1w or 37.5w? Should be 2 feeds coming in at least with the tullamore and Tipp games on TV... Maybe more...

There are a few games being broadcast today on terrestrial tv live, so there should be a few feeds knocking about that might be available for the non broadcast games.

    RTE2
Galway vs Cork 5pm from Croke Park
Meath vs Tyrone 7 pm from Croke Park

London vs Cavan in Croke Park at 3pm is not being shown live but might be available on the same feed given the trucks will be there anyway.

TG4 are showing 2 womens GAA games from 1.30 today. Its in the same ground that the Donegal vs Laois play in at 5pm. I dont know if that feed will continue for that game, but might be worth checking out if there is some contra deal with Tg4 and RTE to use the facilities later.

    Usual spots, 23.5E, 0.8E, 24.5W and 37.5W.

What are you guys using to watch these feeds?

I have to stream from my vu+duo to laptop and use VLC player. I am not sure if I have the correct settings in VLC as the video is a bit blurred. Is there certain settings I should try?

Or is there anyway to watch 4:2:2 feeds on the vu+ duo using a plugin or something?

    It's DVB-S2. Try adding 3/4, 8PSK

What settings are you using in VLC STB? I've attached the settings I'm using which is causing slight blur.

Got the feed from Carrick On Shannon booming in, what's the chances of it staying 'live' for the Laois V Donegal game???
    I'd say it will.....

Very same. I haven't adjusted them.

Ariva 120 combo does not allow me to adjust the polarity, no idea what to do? Can somebody pm what I need to do, if it entails adjusting the dish I'll have to leave it to the experts.

keep an eye out for me today. I've no rte here now, don't really want to watch on line. I've a motorised dish 1.1m), 37.5w may be a problem for me as I am to far east and I've mountains to my west. I get 30west no problem, but its very low for me!

If you want to try 37.5 West there is a data signal on 11679 V 4090 11.5 dB with me.

Sometimes RTE use the same setup from a recent feed so that was the St Pats Dundalk game on Friday. That was on 1 West but it was in 4:2:2.

    Frequency: 11472 - Pol: V - SR: 6111 - FEC: -

    Category: Sport - Football

    Transmitted in: MPEG-2 4:2:2

    Comments: St Patrick Athletic-Dundalk(s2)

Strangely for the Dublin Kerry semi final there were no feeds at all reported and I checked all the usual frequencies. Anyway I'm away to the final myself so I won't be around later.

Depends on who is doing the OB for them.

Normally the HD OB unit uses Intelsat 905 (24.5°W) around the 109** mark with a S/R of 4800.

The links should be live right now. TV3's link will no doubt be up on 23.5E unless they are sharing the cost with RTE (they are showing the minor game.

Keep an eye on the live feeds on Stanley's site http://www.satelliweb.com/index.php?section=livef

No luck with a feed. I scanned 37.5. But nothing. Luckily premier sports are showing it, which seems to be clearing for me. Not the best picture in the world, but it will do.

Hurling replay is on the usual frequency on 37.5 West.

    10972 V 5787.
