    I recently started doing my own AI, in a couple of cows i felt a cold liquid while i was inseminating them. anyone know wat this is or if im doing sumthing wrong.

    This is a genuine answer. Loss of feeling in your hand may have made it feel like what you describe.

    Not being smart but is it faeces? When I did the AI course at the factory on cull cows, they'd mostly been on a drier diet than spring grass and were perhaps quite empty after being transported and stood in the pens.
    Other than that, I'm stumped. Presume it isn't in the cervix you are feeling it?

    I've heard of guys at AI full-time that had to give it up because they lost feeling in the hand they were putting in the cow. So I'd go with the loss of feeling theory.
