DVB-T dongle PC-software

I purchased a Terratec DVB-T dongle quiet a while ago but never got around to setting it up.

This week I installed the supplied software and got it up and running. It displayed the video/audio OK but stream/multiplex information was very limited and inaccurate in one case - the bitrate quoted for the SD channels was averaging 5-6 Mbps and up to 11 Mbps for RTÉ2.

I downloaded a demo version (limited 45mins use) of the much recommended DVBviewer and found better and more accurate than the supplied Terratec software.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good piece of DVB software that would allow me to look at the multiplex data such as PIDS, parameters, audio/video data, bitrate etc. More interested in looking the numbers behind the channels than the channels themselves.

Maybe there is a DVBviewer or ProgDVB plugin?

I'd stick info like this on www.techtir.ie as it's for Tech people and www.saortv.info is only consumer stuff. I plan to keep both going and revamp soon.

I think Transedit (sister program to DVBviewer) is free and might have what you want?

The DVBViewer demo worked OK with the dongle so I assume the full version won't cause any problems.

Looks good watty, the TS Analyzer function might be what I'm looking for.

Both are not realtime. But good for analysing TS dumps.

I have a TBS6220 PCI-e card installed on my PC,
Drivers installed and channels scanned, all is not well as the TBS software does not let me watch any channels that are using H.264 video codec.
Anyone suggest what can I do to get H.264 to work?
I can view MPEG-2 from Freeview but not MPEG-4 from Freeview HD or Saorview

If you have windows 7 use media centre, it includes the necessary codecs.

I've just upgraded from a single to a dual tuner USB stick for the forthcoming 2nd mux, i've been using alt-dvb for regularly recording two channels at once and watching a third but it only seems to use one tuner. Is this possible in any software with a dual-tuner and channels spread over two muxes ?
