    Hey,

Me and a mate of mine are considering cycling from Copenhagen to Gothenburg and then on to Oslo. Total distance approx 600 km and we have approx 14 days. We intend on going in September 2013.

Our general plan is to fly into Copenhagen and out of Oslo.Thats the broad plan.We intend on cycling all the way to Gothenburg 9approx 325 km) at approx 50 km a day and depending on our time left we will either cycle all the way to OSLO or else possibly get a train.Has anyone here ever made this journey before.

A few queries I have...we intend on arriving with very little gear...Would it be possible to rent a bike in Copenhagen and to drop it off in Oslo.Do rent companies allow for this?? Has anyone any alternative advice if that is normally not allowed.
Whats the weather like in these countries around mid September?? Has anyone any reccomendations on villages to stay in whilst cycling up the coast or on things to do in each of these three cities. We are hopefully planning on staying in hostels along the route.
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated!! I think it could be an amazing trip with gorgeous scenary.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

got the train from copenhagen to gothenburg and the bus as far south as torp and rygge from oslo and honestly the scenery in west norway completely blows away that whole area

oslo to bergen is a much more spectacular trip, though you are more at the mercy of the weather in west norway (makes ireland look like the sahara desert in comparison), the journey from hol to bergen (taking in flam, myrdal, gudvangen) is amazing
