Acme crow caller works just as good stick, a decoy out in the field and you'll call them in like dogs.

Acme caller is only about €10.

haven't used the sam neyt one although it does sound excellent so i'm sure it'd work well, i have the primos power crow call and its deadly, only cost 14 euro delivered, paired with a few decoys i get consistent bags of 30 to 50 everytime in about 3 hours.

I have a Sam Neyt and I haven't mastered it. Watched the YouTube videos and I believe they work, but I think the breathing technique has to be mastered before crows will take a blind bit of notice.

I have one and mastered it..

    It is the danglies..

Its a kind of throat clearing noise you have to make.. But you will tear them apart.

Its the same with the acme, blow it like your clearing your throat.

Any tips on how to use it. Have the throat clearing technique alright, but I am missing something like number of calls in succession or length of call.

Maybe the crows down here are smarter than your average crow!

4 loud caws in a row imitate a grey crow.

Four loud caws in a row. Good stuff, I will give that a go so.

As Christmas Day was not too exciting I decided to take the dog for a walk with the Sam Neyt caller after suitably annoying herself practising the gargling/clear throat technique in the house.

Anyway got to a spot where I could hear crows in the distance and gave it a blast. Besides from a couple of magpies that seemed to be interested, I would probably have as much success blowing on my thumb for 10 minutes as I did with this caller.

At least the dog got a bit of exercise.
