income and expenditure statement query

    i'm self employed with some income from jobseekers allowance

    i'm typing up a I&E statement

    is my income on the I&E statement the total from jobseekers and self employment

    or just business income

    Just the business income. Jobseeker's allowance is not taxable, jobseeker's benefit is and there is a seperate section on your tax return for this.

    thanks i haven't done a tax return yet for the year in question

    i have to do my own returns going forward due to financial constraints as business is very quiet

    but i need to prepare a I&E statement in the meantime


    anyhow i think you've answered my question -it's not part of the statement
