Help !!! Awful toothache but very important meeting tomorrow

    Guys

    Need major help, need to get a job done on tooth that I was on antibiotic for months ago.

    After going crazy with pain again tonight, would a chemist managing to give me any type of antibiotic to get me over weekend or would a dentist give it too me without full appointment?

    Would have to happen on a thurs of bank hol with mad day on tomorrow I just can't take off

    Since you were on an antibiotic for this tooth before, I'm guessing that you have a tooth that is dead or dying that needs a root canal treatment or extraction or possibly an impacted tooth that again needs removal...
    Are you swollen or have a tooth that is particularly sore to bite on??
    Ultimately, the infection will keep coming back until you have the definitive treatment.....

    If infected again and you need to get some antibiotics to get you over the next few days then the dentist who saw you a month ago is your best bet. You could ring them in the morning and since they have your medical history, notes, X-rays and plan on file, they MAY consider phoning a prescription into your pharmacy.... No other dentist will do this without seeing you, pharmacists tend to shy away from making these calls too....

    Thanks for the reply

    Emailed my dentist already,

    It just flared up again this evening, pain when I bite and even when I don't. Need the job done so have ask dentist if the could help me for the couple of days and then book me in for next week and get part one of this job done and sort it out.

    Wife hasn't been well so have been putting herself and my work ahead of myself , but have to make time for my own health too.
