Hi, we (my wife & I) are trying to book a nice holiday but on a budget price, what is the best website to book from, we have trawled through the internet and they are all costing about €900-€1,000 for the 2, I know that doesn't sound too bad, but we really want to go to Turkey, but the prices of Turkey are even higher for a nice hotel and All Inclusive, I have also priced half board & B&B, Please can anyone give me some good website to book cheap holidays from?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dljitx :D

Lowcostholidays.ie and aplharooms.com are good websites. Last year got a family holiday (3 adults, i child) for 900 euro or so, very cheap.

Thanks _yep, i have looked at both of them, the hotels are nice and not too expensive, but i find the flights are really expensive, we are looking to spend a max of €800 for package deal. Any ideas? Thanks again. Dljitx

You want to go to Turkey? Lots of earthquakes, terrorist attacks, and Kurdish conflict. Not to mention border with Syria threat of spilling over. 50 people killed in bomb attacks a few weeks ago. OK the tourist resorts are quiet, but for how long?

Have a Look at Aer Lingus Hoildays, there is 10% discount if booked by midnight. Hurry is the code BTW.

I recomend Sunway.ie. Great offers. Last Thu booked a week in Tenerife for E 234 per person, including return flight with Aer Lingus, transfers and self catering apartment at Tamaimo Tropical. Departing Dublin on Sat, 8th of June.

that's a very good deal! last minute offers are the best, and most exciting!

Try booking everything seperately, really saves money. Use skyscanner and trivago.

Don't listen to this nonsense. What a ludicrous post! By that reasoning no one should have visited Ireland from the 1970's until the good Friday agreement! Do you even appreciate the size of Turkey? The Aegean coast is about 2 hours by plane or 20+ hours by road away from the Syrian border.

Anyway, check out aerlingus for cheap flights. We got ours for May/June for €200 Inc bags. Also good deals with Turkish Airlines if you don't mind flying via Istanbul

I wouldn't recommend all inclusive in Turkey because a big part of the enjoyment of the place is eating out. If you go all inclusive even in a very swanky hotel I can guarantee there will be plenty of food but it will be quite boring. You really would be better to opt for self catering or bed and breakfast

You can rent apartments quite cheap also - try airbnb. We have hired a 3 bed villa close to the beach for €400 per week and it sleeps 6-8 people. We hired direct from the owner as we are very familiar with Turkey but you can find good bargains on airbnb or owners direct.

Sunway, sunworld, Thomas Cook, sky tours, cassidy travel all do decent deals to Turkey on a regular basis. You will get a better deal if you can take the chance and wait for a last minute deal.

Just remembered I saw a package deal in cassidy travel for 1 week in May to the Sea Pearl hotel in Kuşadası which is a very nice hotel. It was €349 bed and breakfast, bags and transfers included. Kuşadası isn't somewhere I would personally choose, but if you were thinking of that resort that is a really nice hotel and a good price.

Also check out Thomas Cook from Belfast. About 2 years ago we got 2 weeks in a lovely hotel in Turgutreis, b&b, transfers etc. Right on the beach. €385 per person. By the time we added on travel to Belfast and parking it was about €420 per person but for a fortnight in such a nice hotel it was still a good deal.

Yeah I just realised how old the original post was after I posted! Grrrr hate when people resurrect old posts for no apparent reason!!

    Load of rubbish.

Your more likely to get stabbed by a junkie while visiting Dublin.

check out broadway travel, a1 travel, and lowcost holidays....used each of them a few times just to book hotels and found them much cheaper than sunway for same hotels.... Then just booked flight seperately....
