I know the first run of Bugera amps got lambasted for their unreliability but I like the idea of the Infinium series, particularly the rectifier clone. Just wondering if anyone has one and how they find it.

Im thinking of getting the Trirec or the Magician at some point when cash is flowing a bit more as a gigging amp. I like the idea that they dont need to be biased either (another Boogie copy but a good thing), saves on paying a tech. Plus the ability to throw in whatever tubes you want for your own tone is brilliant, if it works.

I have the Vintage 22 for over a year & have had absolutely no issues
its all stock & doesnt need any mods afaic
It has a lovely warm clean channel thats as good as almost anything under a grand
I dont use the dirt channel as i use pedals to distort
It also takes pedals very well

For the silly money they sell for new theyre well worth it !

@wild turkey; Is that an Infinium or just a normal V22? They deffo do seem worth the money if they do what they say.

@demanufactured; what marketing issues? First Im hearing of it.

Just saw they do a 5150 clone too. Very tempted to try that out too.

Its a wonder they havent done the same with the Trirec. Its such an obvious Rectifier clone.

The regular (non-infinium) 6260 and 6262 clones (5150 and 5150 II respectively) are pretty decent.
I know a bunch of people who've used these over the years and they're pretty close to the original.

Bit of a video comparison here....

Very close alright. No one is gonna notice the difference in a pub anyway.

Didn't know James Spader played guitar ;)
