Karate was competing for a place on the 2020 programme, but as of yesterday, it has been eliminated.

Karate was a third-time candidate after missing out in the 2005 and 2009 IOC votes.

It would be difficult for karate to get in given taekwondo is already there. Most people wouldn't really make a distinction there, although wtf is probably a further remove than ITF

    Squash, Baseball/Softball & Wrestling.

I hope Wrestling obviously wins out. If it does, it'll show what a huge waste of time this whole thing has been too.

If Baseball wins, they should send in a team under that IOC flag to play Baseball against the other countries, but the team will solely consist of the best International Wrestlers, thos who would've qualified for the Olympics that year.

Then the wrestlers should show them why they made a huge mistake in not picking their sport!

Its a real pity Karate won t be included in the olympics however looks like it s still included in the European Olympic Games which are being staged in Baku in 2015.
