    not sure if I like this,.. leaves a lot of questions What is the second stage.. when will it happen..? will courses be moved around? I love Waterford.. I don't want to be told i'm off to Carlow to finish my course all of a sudden ? :confused:

    Unless you plan on spending the next 5 years in WIT you are fairly safe :D

    This isn't something thats going to happen overnight. We are talking years rather than months here.

    Thought the program for Government meant transforming WIT in to a University not a combined Technolgical Universitywhatever that means with a college over an hour away. Anyway its good news even if it was just a formality at this stage. Hopefully money and investment in to the Waterford Campus will follow! Hopefully Waterford will keep a lot of important courses... is there any indication what way the discussions are going between the colleges?
