Fully automated retail vending machines shops 24h/7 a week

Hi , what do you think in opening a fully automated vending machines shops 24 H open?

Selling , prepack sandwiches , hot sandwiches, cold drinks, snack, healthy snacks, pop corn , news paper and magazine , everything on vending machines.

There in amsterdam in a few places.. zippos, zappos or something like that ???

Its just at 20sq ft area surrounded by both hot and cold food all enclosed in.. Coin operated with clear windows on everything ..

Yes these kind of shops are every-where in the Continent , Holand, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal , etc etc .

Why not in Ireland ? The Celtic Tiger is not dead yet !!! just a off sick for a while lolololololo.

Look parcel motels. They are in the back of petrol stations and they dont appear to get vandalised. Neither do the Dublin bus electronic displays. The biggest problem I would see with the machines would be how to maintain them in a country that they arent common. There is a vending machine for ever 33 people in Japan. Obviously the country is more dense but they are popular

Thank you for your advice !

I knew from the begining that would be a problem to service those machines , besides that the companys here in Ireland sell there own machines and usualy don't like to give there services to someone else.

The good thing is the company wich I am trying to do this buiseness will take me to there factory and for a couple weeks they will train (coach) me to solve any problem. The good thing is : they will not charge me for this at all , at there factory. so I think is not so bad !!!

A high proportion of sales in 24 hr shops after 12am are card even if there is a cash machine available.

I would buy food from this type of stores , in my opinion it is cleaner than some places where is served by someone else .
At least the food in this shops comes straight from the factory , to the machines.

I forgot to meantion this machines will be covered by a wall and than a second glass window ,so it will have protection .

Sounds great, only issue I would have is quality of product. i.e. How long do the sandwiches sit before they're chucked ?

I only eat salted popcorn btw.

You know this machines have in built a microwave the same goes at home when you use a microwave , even if the food is good quality after 45 minutes for sure won't taste that fresh but still good to eat .As the products wich I am going to have are coming from one of the best Irish companies.
