    Howdy folks
I got my first positive for bvd in a calf born about a month ago. The calf was born out of a heifer I bought as a calf and her milk is going into the tank and yet Im getting a negative on my milk sample for p.i infection. Can anyone shed some light on this

TI mother produces a positive calf, but the cow gets better, sadly the calf won't.

The thing is the calf is a month old and is thriving its hard to believe their could be anything wrong with him.

Retest him. But if he's a pi it will become more apparant with age..

I still believe Bvd is over hyped.

Both, virus negative, antibody positive, until today I figured the antibody positive was as a result of bvd vaccination in some stock I would have bought in.
