acer aspire 5810t laptop battery problem

Yesterday when i unplugged the power cord from my acer aspire 5810t laptop it shut down instantly. now it will only work plugged into the mains. It was working fine on battery earlier in the day. Have never had battery problems, run it down regularly and a full charge usually lasts in excess of 3 to four hours depending on…
