    I'm surprised it hasn't been released in this format yet. Its a film that deserves to be shown on Blu-Ray. Anyone agree

    Yeah, considering the amount of b grade action flicks on the format. It was on one of the Netflixes (Netfli?) a while back in HD, so some sort of hi def master is out there.

    It's available to rent in HD on iTunes.

    I wouldn't hold my breath for the Blu-ray. Warners never even gave it a proper DVD release. I'd say its only hope of being released on Blu-ray in the near future is if an Irish company picks it up.

    Ya think it was the first dvd I ever bought and it was a flipper.

    Yeah I'd say the Irish market is the only one where it's particularly fondly remembered. Still, it's a big name director and star so it might reappear one of these years, although sticking with digital only (it's on Amazon US too) might be a relatively sensible move for Warners.

    In fairness B grade action Flicks never have the supporting cast Michael Collins has.

    The amount of quality actors in supporting roles makes the film, Neeson is good as usual, Julia Roberts shouldn't of been picked for the part.


    Back on the point Id imagine that the reason the Blu-ray conversion hasn't happened is because it didn't do great internationally, I would say it was largely missed and forgotten about now.
