    Hi bonniet.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

A cheque can be posted to your branch for lodging, however for security reasons, we wouldn't recommend posting an endorsed cheque.

Depending on the crossing of the cheque, it may be possible to lodge it to an alternative account. If there are no crossings on the cheque, then it is certainly possible to lodge it into a different account. Cheques crossed with 2 parallel lines will need to be endorsed and once this is done, they may also be lodged to an alternative account. If "Account Payee Only" is marked anywhere on the cheque, then it must be lodged to the account in the payees own name.

If you would like to query this further, please contact your account holding branch and a representative will be happy to assist you.
For a full list of branch addresses and contact numbers please see here.

Hope this helps. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
    Laura
