    Hey folks
Before I get on the phone and ask them just wondering is it possible to add sky sports to my UPC package but only for June? I know I can ring to get them to add it but how much notice do I need to give to stop it?

    Thanks

Possibly a month, plus there's a €15(?) euro charge for downgrading.

You pay a minimum one month plus a €10 disconnection fee. Make sure you are told clearly when to ring up to cancel it so it doesn't roll over to be charged for a 2nd month.

Depending on your exact billing date (or how far into your current date you are) you may find that you will be charged more than you should have been in next months bill, as the sports add-ons are billed monthly in advance, but the following bill will show a credit for the extra amount charged.

e.g. if your last bill was dated very recently & you add skysports today your next bill will show a backdated charge from todays date plus a full months charge for next months billing period, even though you'll have cancelled half way through next month, so you'll have to wait until the following month for the credit to show along with the €10 downgrade fee.

I haven't worded all that very well but hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say!
