I was just wondering how you structure an Oraid/Diospoireacht compared to a normal essay, just so I'll have more choice on the day? Cheers.

Its much the same as a normal essay - opening, the problem as it is today, the reasons, solutions, closing.
Basically in the first paragraph you address the judge and the audience. Then u mention the topic to be discussed and maybe write a line or two about it.
Then the next paragraph is saying whether you're for or against it and defending your argument (basically talking about the problem as it is today)
Then you can give more paragraphs on the reasons for the problem and how we could fix it. You should mention the opposition in these and say how they are wrong in what they are saying.
Then all you have left is your ending and thank the audience and accept questions etc :)
