    Hello
    Drawing below.
Basically, would appreciate some opinion here, as I can not find much from Google.
An industrial estate in which an incident took place in a carpark.
No road marking on external roads.
No other cars in car park.
Red car is in reverse and lights working, green car is moving forward.
Green car does enter from roundabout at angle shown.
    No horns sounded.

There is a vid on cctv, but can not post and need to decide on an approach in morning, but do not want to make a big deal, if in the wrong. Unfortunately, do not know the law regards reversing situations.

Many thanks for comments and feedback.

I'd say red for not being fully aware of surroundings. Red was probably looking over one shoulder only.

If its in court in the morning the judge will decide, this is a case that will be decided on the facts of it. No law book is going to say anything about an exact situation like this.

    ^+1
The story board shows the green car had stopped 4ft away yet the red car continued reversing. The red car collided with the stationary green car. Imo, red is at fault for failing to ensure the way was clear while reversing. Generally, if you hit a stationary object the odds tend to be against you.

Thanks for that folks. Human nature made me think I was in the right or at least 50:50, especially considering angle taken in to carpark by green car and also that I was already in motion and in clear view when the green car entered car park.
Reviewed vid again and more like the green car stopped 2 or 3 feet before it was impacted by red car.
Had also been using side mirrors, but obviously not at same time :-)

Practical advice not legal advice: secure a copy of the cctv footage ASAP, before it gets wiped or otherwise lost.
