    Hi,

I have a barna shed which had ivy growing over it on one side. When I went at the ivy it took some of the outer layers off the roof felt and now I am left with a leaky shed!

I am was wondering can I buy some thick sealer paint and paint over the problem area will this reseal and stop the leaks? Or will I have to get it re-felted?

    Thanks,

    Branners

I'd recommend you re-felt it. It's an easy job and a roll of felt is plenty. The light stuff used on sheds isn't that expensive. Don't forget to get a bag of galvanised felt nails (clout head nails).

    Thanks for the reply.

Best to take the old felt off or re-felt over the old for double protection?
