I'm planning on cycling around South America for 12 months and I'll be needing a bike!... Has anyone got a good quality Tourer for sale perhaps?

26' and I'm 175cm cantalever breaks and hybrid handlebars so that probably narrows the field!

I'd definately check out the Salsa then ;-) its in 700c but the wheels are bombproof, has the cantis and easy enough to put flat bars on -should fit you ok too ;-)

i have a thorn sherpa, with a mix of dura ace bar end shifters, deore and xt groupset, canti brakes, 26 in wheels, just built. I am 180cm, but depending on your leg lenght, itll prob fit fine. frames new are around £499. will take E700 for bike which is practically brand new

    Howdy Paul,
Which Thorn Sherpa type frame is it... I'm on a felt 56cm road bike so I'm not sure I'll get on your sherpa
