Anybody have any ideas on tweaking some bitter kits?
Received two Geordie kits, one Bitter and another Yorkshire Bitter.
Never really thought about bitter as mainly brew other styles but can anyone think of some fermentables or hops to use to give a better brew?

Try dry hopping. 20g of Cascade or similar in the fermenter a week before bottling.

You could throw in a lime (score the skin) with the hops, that's what I plan on doing anyway seeing as I got the Yorkshire bitter kit for 3.75

I threw a load of oak shavings from a Jameson barrel into a wherry kit. Should be interesting.

I have a couple of barleywine kits but not a clue what to do with them. Was nearly thinkin of dumping some dark grains into one.
