LinkedIn tutorial

I know a lot of posters here are very familiar with how to use LinkedIn and have gotten really good jobs through it. I thought it might be a nice idea for someone to post a tutorial about how to get the most out of it. I've started using it more and more, but nothing has come of it yet. I've been checking out recommended jobs (these don't seem suitable for me - when I check them, I'm not qualified for them at all), adding recruiters, joining groups, etc. I've been putting off including a photo for personal reasons. Is this putting employers off? Would it be worth having one? Any advice and tips would be amazing.
