    What the f&%k do they be doing in the garda vetting unit.... I applied for garda vetting in january for a job and im still waiting... I heard in january that they got public servants to help them out and still this delay.. What a bloody joke if you ask me

    There is no pass/fail. They send out a letter to the organization that applied on your behalf detailing charges recorded against you, if any. Doesn't take any longer if its 'bad news'.

    perhaps you made a mistake,spelled name wrong,invalid previous address etc?? I remember I put the wrong address for an employer,waited about 5 months only to have the forms sent back to me stating that I had to do them again as I provided false information to them.....
