And even after engaging and politely refusing/ delivering a funk off, they're back 5 minutes later as if you never met them?

Tbh, it's a pain in d'hole, but its not a massive pain in d'hole. I'd rather be the beggee any day. It's a city. Beggars live in cities.

No offence but I like getting out of the house.

If you're not well off then why do you regularly go out drinking? Far cheaper to do it at home or in a friend's place. Drinking in pubs is for the naive now.

You only go out of the house to go to the pub?

No I don't only get out of the house to go to the pub.

And there's people out there that would rather enjoy the buzz of a nice bar with friends. Rather then buying deals on beers and sit in a sitting room.

Every time I walk down the town of Dundalk there are at least 4/5 people shoving tins, cards or tickets into my face looking for money.
How do so many get collection permits for every day of the week barring Saturdays and Sundays? Then you have the addicts begging outside shops like Alsi, Lidl etc.
Dundalk is turning into a mug town with all the beggers.

    Hear hear OP!

The impoverished... such a sense of entitlement.

Can't they see we've paid through the nose to sit on this patch of ground? Why won't they go somewhere we don't see them??????? Over there, around the corner. Don't look at me!
