Hi, I have accepted a place on the DCU Professional Dip. in Education (PDE, formally HDip, secondary). I'm interested to hear from anyone currently doing the PDE in DCU. Although I've accepted the place, I am in still trying to make up my mind fully on whether to go ahead with this course. I've been working with children with Autism for 7 years and I ultimately want to work as a special ed. teacher. My subjects are CSPE and English or History. I'd really love to hear what the work load is like and how people found the teaching practice. I have 2 young kids and I'm worried that the work load may be too much on my family. Many thanks!
