    Hi guys,

I was thinking of getting satellite broadband in and came across these guys,
    www.europasat.com

They seem pretty good, a tad pricey but where we are there is no chance of a half decent service form any of the usual suspects. Vodafone can't even find us on the map.

Has anyone any experience of these guys?

    Cheers

All satellite crowds now seem to be using the same equipment and provider, with similar setups.

In Ireland there is a few providers, all offer similar setup. Just beware the long contract and total overall cost.

All the same tooway dish, box etc. Normaly contracts are 18months or more.

It is somewhat feasable for an enthusiast to set up a dish, if you have setup dishes before. There are some good you tube videos.

After it is set up you need to enter an access code which then enables the system. Basically all the above are just resellers of this system.

I would be very careful with this outfit, way over charging and terrible customer service.
They dont pay installation engineers on time, I am waiting over 4 weeks now for payments for work I have done.
I know a customer here who have no service for weeks and cant get it sorted
Stay well clear they will break your patience
