Festival Fashion in Ireland

I'm going to a festival in a while and am eager to just get everything sorted. It will be full of rockers and is in Ireland, so all of those articles about Coachella fashion can go out the window as it will be cold at some stage!

I also don't think this will be a stuck in the mud fest so although I'm bringing willies I think I could get away with flats and a dress or two. I hate those shorts that are around at the moment and show your ass cheeks. I'm also not into flowery hair garlands or anything fringed.

I'm thinking of bringing willies and flat ankle boots, a pair of jeans and a few dresses. But at night we will be going to pubs and stuff

What are your festival fashion must haves? Any advice would be great!

Oh my my! You WILL get some looks!

I always think a dress (above the knee) with tights and ankle/knee boots and a chunky cardigan and you can't go wrong! :)

Or swap the dress for a denim skirt & top

bring layers that way you can strip off if its hot or add more if it gets cold. Especially if you're camping it can be freezing at night.

I would bring old shoes/converse that you can throw in the wash. Even if its not raining the ground can get very muddy from lots of ppl walking on it. Warm socks are essential.

I am in the same dilemma, Slane on Saturday havent the foggiest what to wear cos of the random weather we are having :(
I think wearing tights in June is a big NO. But with weather like today it doesnt feel like June.

Tights are great at festivals. Keep you warm, dry quickly etc.

I normally wear dresses, tights, parka over and hiking boots or trainers. Only bring wellingtons if its an absolute downpour.

PS love the autocorrect 'wellies' to willies :D

    Just wear whatever you want.

I usually bring loads of tights/dresses/shorts at festivals. Never bring pants. If they get wet they usually take ages to dry! And tights are light to carry/pack.

Used to always bring wellies to festivals, but they are so uncomfortable.

Last festival I was at a few weeks ago I wore Doc Martens..they were perfect! So any sorta boots really that will not get completely wrecked in the mud.

Also bring a couple of really warm hoodies/jumpers. You'll be freezing at night. And wooly hats!

If it's a festival where you aren't camping then just wear whatever you usually wear during the day. I would avoid ankle boots/flats though if there is grass! They will be ruined.

I always think its hilarious when people go to a huge effort to be fashionable at Irish festivals and and then usually need wellies, raincoats etc because of our weather!

As long as you're not one of those dunces that wears offensive 'Indian' headdresses, you'll be grand

I didn't get to go to slane in the end so it's all good no offensive Indian anything :)
