Seems as the ever so "popular" Windows version of the S4 is on sale for 286 Euro on expansys.

Great phone for the money. Big screen, large battery, good camera and memory card slot to add to that 16GB internal memory. Not a bad deal, would be getting this if I didn't pick up an s4 last week.

It's £12 cheaper here, not sure of delivery costs, but could work out better value with parcel motel

Good but not great. Dual core vs quad core and 1GB ram vs 2GB ram.

This suggests the Nexus 4 is better (leaving out the OS which doesn't matter as I'm coming from an iPhone)

OP, this is the Windows 8 version of the S3, not the S4. I have been looking to buy one also. It was £239 last week, increased to £244 this week

I've a Nexus 4 and my girlfriend has an Ativ S.

Aesthetically the Nexus wins hands down. The Ativ S looks and feels like plastic.

The screen on the Ativ S is very bright and clear but the Nexus 4 displays colours more vividly.

Call quality, camera quality, sound quality are the same.

I did notice it took longer for web pages to open on the Samsung.

Screens on both are very responsive.

She had looked at getting a Nexus and i almost bought the Samsung but we both decided what phone to get based on the OS.

One thing to remember is that the Nexus will get a Key Lime update when its released.
