Keeping woods in good condition - no covers

Hi,

Any suggestions on how to keep woods in good condition, without having to put covers on them. My Dad struggles to get the covers onto his new woods, and has stopped using them altogether now, as it take him too long to take them on and off.

He has a bag with in-built seperators, but the woods and irons would still be hitting off each other, causing small damage to the woods themselves.

Can anyone recommend a solution to this.

what about the novelty head covers like the tiger head cover or any other one,,the hole in them is alot bigger than the standard head cover,i use one for my 3 wood,they can be got in any golf shop..

As above, also the non brand specific ones are quite loose as well like the masters ones and others!

Or you can get some magnetic ones now as well. He might find them easier to get on and off.

Make sure that the woods are on the top of the bag with the progressively shorter irons underneath, wedges etc on the bottom row.

Putting one cover on the the middle wood would also help...
