No Combi Boiler, No Water Tank in Attic...

Hi guys, just moved to a new house in the country:) Just checking the plumbing and heating system and there is no water tank in the attic. So i thought the oil boiler would have to be a combi boiler. It's a Firebird Heatpac C26 which i'm pretty sure is a condensing boiler only. Also, the immersion has been disconnected. Can anyone explain this to me... Am i right in thinking i'd have to have heating on all the time to have any hot water in the taps, because there's no storage for it??? Should I A: install a combi boiler B: re-connect immersion C: put a storage tank in the attic? Or a mixture of the lot:rolleyes:
Is there any reason for doing what they did?
    Any enlightenment welcome:)

if "the immersion is disconnected" i assume you have a hot water cylinder in the hot press if so you probably have a pressurized system it will have a small red pressure cylinder and a filling loop some where.

The immersion was prob only disconnected because it was activating the trip switch. Most likely just need it replaced. Usually get this done for under €80.00.

What kind of cylinder is it? is it unvented or open vented? If unvented it could be fed direct from the mains, if open vented, there is no storage tank in the attic so you will have no water.

I doubt you"ll get it done for eighty if you need two tradesmen. But if you can find an electrician that is able to do the plumbing side aswell. I usually would do this.
