Gave up on the fuel efficient small car thing and bought a 2008 Pajero 3.2 Auto last week.

It's a bit weedy compared to the Disco 3 I had and I am planning on getting it retuned (remapped), however I haven't been able to find anyone in Ireland doing anything except the plug in boxes, which I am not interested in.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

    TIA
    YB

I think I gather from your OP that you don't want it remapped.

Can I ask what you specifically want done if that is the case?

Sorry I should have said remapped not retuned.

It cannot be remapped in the traditional sense. The only way it can be done is with a piggyback ECU, similar to a tuning box. Tuning Boxes are not as bad as people make them out to be, the official ones are ok, its the eBay boxes people buy that do the damage.

My opinion would be to talk to Martin Treacy in Westward Engineering in Enfield, he supplies official Tuning Boxes and fits them etc along with any supporting parts rewuired such as upgraded Air Filter etc

Its the same for the D4D Avensis and many more.

I have my 2005 Pajero fitted with a tuning box and straight through exhaust.Made an extra 13 bhp and 20 lb ft torque with it.Nice bit more oomph out of it now.My mpg slightly increased but not by that much.
