i'm on an old contract with upc on a digital select max package and I want to downgrade to digital select +, would I be charged the current price for that package or would I stay in the same price range it would have cost back then?

I doubt it. New upc prices here (mainly increases in tv/phone packages)

Only way to find out is either ring them, or use the 'Talk to UPC' forum

You might even get stuck for a downgrade fee.

what speed you getting on wired connection
what speed you getting on wireless

important things to note for wired connection you must have a gigabit Ethernet on desktop pc or laptop
if its not gigabit Ethernet connection on back of pc or laptop you wont get above 100mb also must be using cat5e or cat6 cable

Wireless you must be using wireless n 300 usb network card or if built in wireless must be wireless n300 if max rate of network card is 150 or 144 you wont get anything above 60mb wireless max if lucky
must be using wireless n300 or later spec
Note even with wireless n300 you wont get 150mb wireless only will get that with a wired connection
Wireless speeds will be anything from 15-90 max depending on signal and optimal placement of the horizon box
cant be any were near a kitchen or wireless 2.4ghz phones or any metal
also wireless channel is important if next door neighbour is on same channel and if using wireless n or g
download software inssider to find best channel to use and placement of horizon box to get a high link score the software explain in help section how to use
