Film Locations for Short Film

Hello all.

I am looking for locations for a short film I am producing. 2 houses to be precise. Willing to pay small fee. Here is a description of what we want. Please let me know if you or someone you know may be able to help.

Location 1

In the script this house belongs to the mother of the protagonist. She would be in her 60s and is very religious. The house is lived-in and quite small and homely. Here's a link to photos of a house that has the look we want.

Location 2

This location is another house. It's the house of the protagonist, who is in her 30s. Her house is more modern than her mother's but very modest. No one in the film is rich and the houses should reflect that. Basically, we can dress the houses to make them appropriate but we're finding it difficult to get any at all.

Can you give a few more details? Where are you based, where can you shoot and how long do you need the places for?

Hi 'landsleaving'.

Thanks for the reply. We're based in Galway city but are willing to travel. Location 1 will be needed for 2 days, 9/10 - 5 each day and location 2 just 1 day. We are part of the Huston Film School, NUIG and have insurance that covers us.
