I have a Passat and can feel every bump on the road, and no give going over potholes, is there a way to change this?

    What model Passat is it?

What size wheels have you got?

    Is it lowered?

    What size tyre.

It should as standard have 215/55/R16

Some people fit 205/55R16 in order to save money

Jaysus I wouldn't know, only bought it a few months back, as been like that from day one really.

Check the tyre brand as well

Have the front checked. They're notorious for chewing radial arms.

If there was it could cause it.
    Harder rubber on the arms.
And there is no knocking when going over bumps, just feels hard yeah?
I'd check to see what arms are in it.

Ignore my tyre size advice, I though it said it was an 06 Passat not 03.

Seems low mileage for a 2003 Passat diesel. Are you sure it's genuine mileage? Average 10k a year. How many owners?

I'm the 3rd full service history with it

Are the tyre pressures too high?

    I think they're about 38ish

That seems way too high for a tyre that size. Thought they should be something like 31 on the front and 30 on the rears.

Cheers I'll sort that out and see how it goes
