    hi i have the same problem with a 05 mondeo dose anyboy know where i could find a place who has and would fit a replacement engine

    im in darndale area havnt checked many yet need a price on a mechanic to take mine out and put replacement in

    Ring www.traynors.co.uk and also check on partfinder.ie for breakers that may have a working engine.

    Try the scrappers in Kilcock. I was out there recently and they had a couple of 1.8s being broken. The engines were already out so may have them in stock.

    For fitting Alfie in Confey Auto Centre (close enough to Kilcock) would do a good job.
