    Hi

I am a first year Archaeology student and have recently became interested in the use of x ray fluorescence in identifying the composition of materials.

I would be very interested in doing some work experience in a lab relating to this.
I was wondering if anyone would know the best way to go about looking for summer work experience in this area? Would my lack of a scientific background be a hindrance?

    Thank you for your time
