Different roles in same company

    I want to apply for two roles in the same company. Problem is, they're quite different. I'm qualified to do both and have experience in each area, but would normally tailor my CV and cover letter for the position advertised. What should I do in this situation, given that the same person may well read both applications?

    I would try and get in front of the recruiter or HR person looking after the roles. Have a chat and just ask that the right version of each CV gets to each hiring manager. They may or may not be able or be willing to help, depends how busy they are really, but its worth a try.
