Post spraying

    Got 15 acres of pasteur sprayed for rushes over the weekend.

    Ive 18-6-12 ready to get out on this, ground is eat bare. How long should i leave it after the spraying?

    Read the instructions on the spray that you used in the first instance. If you don't have the leaflet off the container, you can download most of them online in pdf format.

    As a general rule most recommend animals kept off for 7-10days. But as I said, better to read exact recommendations from manufacturer.

    Oh and get that 18-6-12 out asap, it'I boost on the grass ahead of the weeds....it won't do any good in the bag!

    Indeed a lot of the spray manufacturers recommend that you fertilise about a week before you spray so that you get a good weed kill and grass comes on well after

    Thanks muckit, will bag it at the first opportunity. As regards getting cattle back on it, no panic there with the growth rates in this area, could b 6 weeks before there is any grass on it for grazing
