When to sign on?

I am finished in my job on Friday and will be applying for JSB. Can I go to the Welfare office on Friday afternoon to apply or do I have to wait until Tuesday? Thanks!

I think you're meant to go on your first day of unemployment, which would be Tuesday.

As above Tuesday would be your first full day being unemployed.Dont forget id,p45 if you have it,proof of address if required.
