First win in Connacht since 1977, I'm from Sligo and I was absolutely sickened by the result but fair play to London, I'd love to see them reach the Connacht final, even if the most likely outcome will be them taking a hammering from Mayo.

    FYI :pac:

Personally it's great to see Paul Goggins (a Michael Glavey's clubman from here in Roscommon) managing them. Tempted to pop up to Carrick for the semi because it could be a special occasion.

Sligo couldn't win despite having a very badly concealed double-agent on the London team!

Delighted for London - they have come very close over the last few years and it is great to see them finally doing it. Nice to see the Rossie manager too.

It's wonderful too that they play Leitrim in the next game so they can feel they have a 50/50 chance. (Before Leitrim people get upset I would say the same if thy were playing Ross my county - just mean they are avoiding Mayo)

Great result for London and great performance from Lorcan Mulvey in particular..

Delighted for them, that win could be the most romantic story of the Championship. It is wins like that, that really spark the season in to life.
After being banned unfairly from intercounty challenges by the GAA they fought back in the best possible way.
They could have a right cut of Leitrim.
A win like that, the monkey is of their backs, and they will carry huge confidence and momentum in to the Semifinal.

23rd of June will be a good day out, I have a bunch of cousins who have all played for the exiles in some manor or form. I'll miss the game as I'm on holidays. Good luck London.

Is the semi in Carrick on Shannon?

It should be a tight game, Leitrim will be well up for it also.

Shame they're not playing my own county - Galway.

After last weeks performance against Mayo I'd give London a 99% chance against us.
