Just an update in response to some PM's i got from people who think these are night vision goggles for some reason.

"Profile NVG" is the model name of this particular set of ballistic goggles. They have "NVG" in the name because they are compatible with night vision equipment.

This is NOT a set of night vision goggles.

    Here's the product page:

Not really. These are genuine ESS, the exact same as the ones used by the US Army and the Irish Army as well as a lot of others, the lenses are specifically designed with anti-fog. You get a small bit of condensation but not enough that it becomes noticeable. Combine it with a small bit of washing up liquid wiped onto the inside and it remains perfect.

    Thanks for the quick reply
See I'm looking into moving out of the world of mesh and into goggle, but need a reliable pair that won't fog much
On that note, I'll offer 35 posted for them, and if you don't accept, the offer will always be on the table, so to speak ;)
Only thing is, I can't pay till next week, if thats a problem?
    Cheers :)

    Damn, really want these goggles!
Would offer more if I had it, how much do you think postage would be?
    Cheers

If you want them they're €40 + post

Postage would be about €5 i think, so €45 altogether.

And I can't accept your offer if you say you can't pay until next week. If the goggles are still here you can make the offer next week when you have the money.

I'll come back next week for sure ;)

Just wondering if these are the newer version with foam comforters, or are they simple flexible plastic where it meets the face?
    Cheers

Sorry i was away for a few days and didn't have access to the internet.

Behind the lens is a foam mesh padding and then the part that actually touches your face is a sort of rubber seal.

Thanks for the reply, it must be the slightly older version. Makes no difference yo me really, only after spending the available money I had in my PayPal, so it will be next week before I have enough for it, yet again!
So I'll make an offer later on, sorry for the slowness ;)
    Thanks

That's less than one third of the original price (€92 on Team-Alpha.ie).
