    Hey all.

I'm set to take over about 45acres of land that I already look after for my elderly father. I think I need to get my own herd number, but my real question is, what is the smoothest way to transition from my father to myself. Lease to me first and get a herd number or ?
    Any help/comments/info be much appreciated!

    D.

Change the name on the existing herd no.

they now need you to transfer ownership, or have a signed lease to change name. well that's per last week I had this problem with a client
