Yep I know but it cracks me up none the less. Not even a negative mention of Di Luca even that would be some recognition that somewhere out there cycling exists. There even colum space for some dude who won at the Indianapolis Speeeday FFS

The Indo itself can be ok with cycle stuff. I only read it on line so not sure what the print edition is like

Never stops them devoting pages to horse racing.

There is widespread interest in Horse Racing, not so much in cycling.

Without doubt the biggest rag you can buy. At least the tabloids don't pretend to be quality papers. Indo is full of spoof writers & assholes. Especially the rugby writers.

Horse racing is not a sport and has no place in the sports pages.

Perception is reality, and the reality is that it is in fact a sport. Also the demographic that reads the sports pages are also more likely to bet on horses so it makes sense to have it there.

I like horse racing and will watch good racing even if I haven't had a bet on it, but I cannot understand how anyone could ever class it as a sport.

I think that too much wasted on racing , anyone really into it get the star or racing post. There is couple new writers that are shocking for the rugby, nearly as bad as Gerry thornley - omg :)

Why would I buy the Sindo when the best writers are on boards? :D
