Water supply (from well) gets cut off intermittently

My house is supplied by a well, which is distributed throughout the house by a water pump. 2 years ago the well was checked and estimated at current volume to have 25 years of water. Yet recently, in the last month or so, the water from the well completely cuts off at various times throughout the day. The pump inside the house continues to function perfectly (for hot water from the tank or from the attic supply) yet the well water is gone. This lasts for about 5 to 15 minutes before coming back.

I have no idea what to check, or how to fix it. Any ideas? I'd rather get a professional in to have a look at it but not sure what I'm looking for!

Thanks dude, I saw that on some Googling alright ... Where does typically find the pressure switch? Is that outside on the pump or something in the house?
